Dance With Peter
Dance with Peter was the first Dance Reality TV show to eliminate the monotonous routines of dance competition as seen on TV. The show was popular for encouraging creativity and originality from its acts. It was this wealth of creativity and talent that made it a household staple during its run in 2015. Skilled dancers must compete to impress the judges with their rigorous moves and routines to be selected and be mentored in the house by renowned musician and dancer, Peter Okoye.
The maiden edition of the show witnessed Peter Okoye making his debut as a judge/mentor in the Reality TV series. He was supported by Nigerian Dance Queen Kaffy, and dance Choreographer Don Flexx. The competition is open to solos, debuts, and groups of four or five with different dance backgrounds for the auditions. Contestants are selected as individual performers and mentored in the house.
The dance TV reality show which brought participants from across Africa connected only by their passion for dance was sponsored by Africa's biggest corporate supporter of entertainment and integrated telecommunications service provider, Globacom.
It aired on TV channels like Africa Magic, M.T.V Base, A.I.T, and garnered a massive following making the show an easy fan favourite during its run.
